i>Clicker

December 5, 2014

Spark classroom discussion and enhance evaluation with the i>Clicker response system

Clickers are a form of audience response system. They allow you to combine wireless response hardware with your regular presentation software (like PowerPoint presentations) to pose questions to your audience and display their answers. Typically these questions and answers are in multiple choice format.

There are dozens of these clicker systems out there, and are generally not interoperable. The TLTC was asked to recommend a system that the college could trust and which the TLTC would support through training.  The ability to work in some way with LEARN, the College’s Learning Management System, was part of the mix. The TLTC selected iClicker as an easy to use and flexible system.

Red River College’s bookstore handles iClicker purchases they same way they do textbooks.
