Rrrrob will not rrride

Do you have your tickets?

Despite rumours to the contrary, Rob Ford will not attend our first Rebel Riders’ event of the year on June 6th.

But, though his attending the much anticipated June 6th Bud, Spud, and Steak fundraiser for MS is now clearly unlikely, will Rob Ford ride with our Rebel Riders for the September MS Riding Mountain challenge?

Probably not. But you can.

We are back with a goal of raising $10,000 for MS in this, our 11th year! This year’s ride will be September 6 & 7 at Riding Mountain National Park.

  • Deron Warkentin

A friend of the family has MS and my mother has captained a team for 14 years walking in the Winnipeg MS Walk, most of those years with my own children, but without me. Now its my turn to ride for Grace.

Why not join the 2014 team? We already have 7 registered riders: Marnie Boulet, Guy Dugas, Dayna Graham, Miguel Guzman, Mar-Zeus Macasieb, Michael Poitras, and Deron Warkentin. Train with us this spring and summer to get in shape for the big ride Sept. 6. Email mrushworth@rrc.ca for details or simply click here and then click on the Join Team button.

  • Come to our Bud, Spud, & Steak event Friday June 6 at The Oak, Canad Inns Transcona from 6 to 9 pm. $20 per person (must be 18 or older). Bring friends for a fun evening with the team. Call Marnie at 204-949-8521 or ask any team member for tickets.
  • Join the team for a Flapjack Fundraiser breakfast June 21 at Applebee’s, 2065 Pembina from 8 to 10 am. $10 per person. Bring friends and family. Again, ask any team member or call Marnie at 204-949-8521 for tickets.
  • Donate securely online at http://mssoc.convio.net/. All monies raised go to supporting those suffering with MS or to MS research.

Together we can end MS. Help make our 2014 ride even better.
