This post-graduate diploma program is designed to help students prepare for the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Canada designation. The program was developed from the CPA competency map that provides graduates with the opportunity to fill current and ongoing demand for accountants. Graduates can apply to use their post-graduate diploma credits for standing toward the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Students will gain a deeper understanding of accounting practices and principles; accounting management; taxation; communications; business law as it relates to finances and accounting.

Professional Sales and Strategic Marketing
This program develops the knowledge and personal selling skills you require for building and maintaining long-term partnerships and for achieving sales success.
The program promotes a needs-satisfaction selling philosophy supported by strategic selling techniques. It focuses on the selling function of marketing and its relation to an overall marketing strategy.
Selling is well-suited to learning through application, with the use of oral presentations and salesperson and customer role plays. Throughout the program you will have many opportunities to practice your presentation and selling skills and to review your performance.
You will study the various functions of marketing. You will strengthen your interpersonal skills and develop the persuasive communication strategies you need for success in sales.

Digital Media Design-Interaction Design and Development

In Digital Media Design — Interaction Design and Development program, students will learn to create design-driven, responsive websites, apps, and user interfaces. This program trains students to be front-end designers and developers, as well as User Experience (UX) designers. In addition, students will develop skills with content creation strategy, wireframing and prototyping, as well as a variety of field research methods and UX processes. Near the end of the program, there is a three-week work placement in which students will work full time in the industry.

Digital Media Design-Video and Motion Graphics

In Digital Media Design’s Video and Motion Graphics program, students will learn the art of motion graphic design and animation. Students will also learn visual storytelling and the technical aspects of video production including shooting, lighting, editing, audio, colour correction, and compositing.

Combining design fundamentals, animation principles, videography, technical workflow, and creative storytelling, this program will train students to become motion graphic designers, animators, documentary and narrative filmmakers, compositors, editors, and shooters. Near the end of the program, there is a three-week work placement in which students will work full time in the industry.

The Health Care Aide Term helps you develop the knowledge and skills you need to become a health care worker who, under the supervision of a nurse, assists hospital patients, personal care home residents, or home care clients. This hands-on certificate program provides you with the knowledge and skills required for an entry level position within the cabinet making industry. You learn by doing and building competence in a wide variety of tasks required by employers in the cabinetmaking and woodworking field.
